Addicted to: Online shopping and celebrity gossip.
My personal style: Simple and feminine.
Must-visit stores: Boudoir on Hamilton Street in Yaletown. Jules & Eve in Kerrisdale. Also, Aritzia because it never disappoints.
Heels, UGGS, or flats: Flats for day, heels for night. Sometimes a girl has to be comfy while on the run.
Fave brands: Citizens of Humanity for jeans. Elizabeth & James, Wilfred, 3.1 Phillip Lim just to name a few.
For an outing with the ladies…: You can never go wrong with designer jeans, a cute top and heels or boots. I just recently bought studded boots from Aldo that make even the simplest outfit look totally fierce.
Guys who grab your attention wear: Definitely a guy that can put on sweats and a sweatshirt and still look good. The effortless, yet still put-together look never gets old. Also, a guy who has good taste in jeans is a definite must.
I want: A Mackage coat for the cold, rainy Vancouver winter. I currently have my eye on the Hilary coat. It is to-die-for.
My fashion mantra: Don’t look at the price until you try it on. If I come across an awesome deal, I usually end up persuading myself to buy it, even if I don’t absolutely love it. On the other hand, if it’s going to break the bank, I usually opt out of trying it on. So my solution: fall in love then reveal the potential damage.
Signature scent: Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume.
Girls should stop wearing: Bras with clear straps that are visibly a part of the outfit. I just can’t stand it. Invest in a strapless ladies. Please.
I love fashion because: It’s a way of expressing yourself. You can make a statement with anything you wear. Not only is it interesting to see new trends grow and old ones die, but it’s always fun to start your own and to be unique; to try new things with your appearance.
Style icon: I think Rachel Bilson has great, effortless style. Call me crazy, but I also think the Olsen twins are fabulous. Not everyone can pull off the outfits they wear; at least not with as much confidence.
Must-have winter accessory: I can’t decide which is more crucial to my winter wardrobe: scarves or gloves?
Dream job: Working for a reputable fashion magazine like FASHION or ELLE would be the ideal job.
