One word for the new Anthropologie store on South Granville (2912 Granville Street, Vancouver), intoxicating. 6,000 square feet of Anthropologie goodness – the older sister to Urban Outfitters and the first location in Vancouver – the store carries an eclectic mix of womenswear, accessories and home decor products. I got a sneak preview of the store on Thursday night, at a special event, the store opened to the public on Friday.
This amazing woven pattern wrapped around the entire front store, quite magnificent if you drive by.
Be ready to splurge, Anthropologie is pricey (the first top I spotted was $198), but I did appreciate the fact that they already had a sale section set-up – for those of us who are lookin’ for a deal!
A view of the first floor, the space is the old Caban and Urban Planet for those who remember.
Stationary is always a fave of mine. Fun notebooks & post-its and wooden pencil crayons sit in front of a wall built out of stacks of old magazines. Love the idea – since I never want to throw away magazines.
Romantic floral laced clutches.
The signature Anthropologie feel. Earthy.
The staff at Anthropologie were adorable. What’s she’s holding? From what I recall, they were smoked salmon with goat cheese lollipops. Yum!
This might make you want to hang out in your underwear all day. So so pretty.
Known for their shabby chic collections of homeware.
Cute little knobs. Install anywhere to hang keys, jewellery, etc.
I know, I say cute a lot!
