Sinning in Style

A weekend in Las Vegas holds many pleasures. I love boutique-ing, it’s no surprise that my first stop is always Intermix located at the Forum Shops in Caesars Palace. Never leaving empty-handed, another pair of beauties have been added to my shoe collection this time around. My shopping mantra is: Only buy if you love it, whether it’s $2 or $2000. When making purchases that creep into the ‘splurge-worthy’ category, I always think twice. Is it a classic? How many times will I wear it? Do I love? The Brian Atwood obsession began around the time he left his post as Creative Director at Bally last year, first falling in love with his line, then his face. (Brian Atwood and Tom Ford would make a sexy designer couple…in my dreams). “BA’s” are the new Louboutin. Startlets of all ages have walked the red carpet in variations of his core styles to coveted custom designs -  an avid wearer being Victoria Beckham who pairs them with her own dresses and Hermès bags. Staying to true to my mantra and filling the holes in my personal footwear options — I opted for tan leather Maniacs ($589 USD) — a staple in his collection and now, mine.
