Sea of Grey

I don’t know about you, but I have seen an obscene amount of grey on the runway for this fall. Not that I’m complaining by any means because I love my neutral colors. Grey flannel is great because not only is it neutral, but also the flannel will keep you warm throughout the winter months! Seen on Michael Kors Fall 2011 ready-to-wear collection, he plays around with various greys for both men and women. The simplicity and clean lines are great in any closet and will definitely carry on for seasons to come.

I found some great flannel pieces at amazing prices at Joe Fresh on Granville Street. The pullover I found was a soft material and one that will always remain a classic. To top it off, it was only $39 CAD. Then there were the pants. The cut was what made them stand out to me. The grey pants  ($49 CAD) were a hemmed straight leg made of thicker material. I found it allowed you to  show off your shoes while remaining stylish and warm. Finally gloves are a fall essential. I love long gloves that keep your arms warm and don’t leave that gap between your mitt and your jacket. I found a perfect pair of grey ones for $10 CAD at Joe Fresh. All together, these grey fall wardrobe staples are under $100 CAD! Amazing.

  1. Gray’s been around for a couple of seasons now. It’s such a nice neutral for fall/winter: cozier and softer than black, not as high maintenance as winter white.

  2. Definitely need to get my hands on some gloves! <3

  3. Super cute finds Melissa.
