There’s something so luxurious about fur and shearling. It’s a stylish look for fall and winter, yet practical, keeping you warm and cozy. I found some great pieces for both trends under $100 that I can’t wait to rock!

Although a bit of a controversial trend, it has hit the runway hard. What I love about fur is that if makes an outfit look so glamourous, and if you’re really not digging it, then there’s always faux fur. Fur is feminine, adds texture and dresses up a simple outfit without having to do much at all. The trend has really shifted from full fur jackets to fur accessories and accents such as fur collars, hand bag key chains, headbands, purses and vests.

Surely Shearling (Right)
If fur really isn’t you or you’re looking for more of a 70′s bohemian feel, then shearling is for you. Now shearling has had its adverse effects from fur. Rather than accents and trims, the trend is to turn your shearling jacket inside out and have the full lambswool shown to add that extra texture to your outfit. I love shearling jackets paired with a tight leather leggings or a maxi skirt and shearling trimmed boots with skinny denim tucked in.

I like the look of both, but find shearling much more wearable, although there are some fur vests which have caught my eye.
