It’s not quite crunch time yet, but it’s officially December 1. Holiday shopping and stressing are now in full swing (this is where you might get into a screaming argument in a mall parking lot, breathe, just remember to breathe). We caught up with a few of our favourite industry insiders to find out what stores they’ll be stopping by. And we think Carmelle and Alicia both have to the right idea – one gift for you, one gift for me.
My favourite hot spot for fun Christmas gifts is Armed (1024 Dundas Street West, Toronto). A hidden gem that sells both new and vintage accessories. Great one-of-a-kind pieces for the girls on your shopping list, and affordable enough you can pick something up for yourself too!

The Cross Decor & Design (1198 Homer Street, Vancouver) for all things decadent and glamorous. You can get a wide range of beautiful things there for a small budget, like the little kitchen accessories, decorative accents, jewellery and candles (i.e. Ibiza lanterns).

My favourite place for Christmas shopping is definitely The Bay! From the cool Canadian Olympic Team Apparel, to beauty products galore, to The Room (aka shopping heaven) and White Space – there’s a gift for everyone, and for every budget. You can buy a plush robe for your grandma, a luxurious perfume for your mom, Topshop goodies for your sister, and Olympic apparel for your man – all at the same store. And they offer online shopping too. What’s not to love?

My go-to holiday shop is definitely Front and Company on (3772 Main Street, Vancouver). They have absolutely everything, it’s almost overwhelming! I’ve already crossed a bunch of names off my Christmas list after a recent shopping trip there. The hardest part about holiday shopping at Front and Company is not buying anything for yourself!
