My Shopping Haul

I mentioned last week how I’m loving graphic tees. This Hometown Heroes Anthrax Muscle Tee $59 CAD is what I ended up picking up at Urban Outfitters. I’m kind of obsessed with the cut of this tee. Cropped just a little higher on the back, it shows just the tiniest bit of skin. I will be wearing this with my high-waisted denim shorts and my super high Pour La Victoire ankle boots. I feel like I just walked out of a Nasty Gal shoot.

So why am I buying denim shorts in February? I’m heading to a music festival in Miami in late March. You can never prep too early. I know white is a bit of a risk, but these Levi’s Cut-Off Shorts $64 CAD will go with so much! And I never regret buying denim shorts, cause they are always on high rotation in my closet.

I’ve been eyeing this hat for a while. Sophie, formerly from The Style Spy wore this hat when she visited Vancouver over the holidays. Of course, she looked super cute. I didn’t think I need another black fedora type hat, but when I saw this Wilfred Hat at Aritzia, regularly priced at $98 CAD and marked down to $15 CAD. I just couldn’t say no. I would be crazy if I did.

My newest hobby. Sitting in a coffee shop (currently loving Milano in Gastown) and breaking out the pencil crayons and My Wonderful World of Fashion colouring book. I purchased this on Amazon.ca for $17 CAD (free shipping over $25 CAD) or in-store at Chapters for $23 CAD. There’s also a sequel, My Even More Wonderful World of Fashion.

Here’s an example of some of the illustrations inside the boot, Vivienne Westwood boots. Amazing. I picked up pencil crayons at Deserres.

P.S. I hope my friend Frankie is NOT reading this post right now. I texted her a photo of the tee & she told me to put it back – “we will deconstruct our own vintage tees”. Sorry Frankie, I bought it. Shame.

i also adore that colouring book. so cute.

  2. It was actually tagged at $20 and rang up at $15. I almost bought it at $35 but my friend said I had a hat too similar. At $15 I couldn’t turn it down.
