Montreal Shops: Citizen Vintage, Lola & Emily, Urban Outfitters

I’m still figuring out my way around the city, while doing so, I make sure to pop into stores to see what’s inside.

Citizen Vintage was voted one of the top 3 Vintage stores by the Montreal Mirror. Not surprising. The store was a mix of men’s and women, it looked very well-curated. My friend picked up a boxy light-c0loured floral linen blazer for $40CAD.

I tried this re-worked crop top $28 CAD.

My favourite, the bag collection. Citizen Vintage is located at 5330 St. Laurent.

You’ll find women’s boutique Lola & Emily on 3475 St. Laurent.

Inside you’ll find brands like Free People, Filippa K, Something Else, Joe Jeans, Yumi Kim and 5Preview.

Please stop tempting me with shoes. Spotted the Dolce Vita Jamison suede ankle booties $165CAD – they really do go with everything. Also spotted, Shellys Joyce weaved shoe in tan and Shellys Beatnik striped loafer. Flats are moving to the top of my list now with the amount of walking I do around the city.

Attention getting? Not at all. Fluorescent pink TOMS $65CAD and Joe Sequin Shorts $215CAD.

I know, it’s a chain. But this is a pretty display isn’t it? The Jeffrey Campbell Lita’s in lace are kind of awesome and the shiny studded and metallic flat forms in the middle aren’t too shabby either. I think I mentioned this before, but I cannot access the Urban Outfitters website in Quebec. So sad…

And finally. We could all use a little Ryan Gosling feminist theory no? Book available at Urban Outfitters. Hey Girl…

  1. I’m obsessed with saddle bags, looks like I’ll need to pop by Citizen Vintage next time I’m in Montreal…
