A Spotlight On Canadian Streetwear: Fresh Train Co., Handsome & Pardon Le Dopeness
More and more, I’ve been falling in love with streetwear. While the majority of these brands are often targeted towards men, there’s always pieces a girl can always work if she’s up to the challenge: graphic tees, over sized tanks, snap-backs, and beanies, to name a few. Here are three of my favourite up and coming streetwear brands that are both designed and produced in Canada.
Fresh Train Co. – This unisex, Toronto-based line of headwear is definitely onto something. Snapbacks with tiger print and wood lettering is pretty unexpected, but the result is surprisingly awesome.
White Classic Beanie, $28 CAD
Classic Star Edition I Snapback, $95 CAD
Tiger FRSH Snapback, $155 CAD
Handsome – For anyone from Toronto, wearing Handsome is a pretty cool way to rep your city – especially when the designs are as cool as these. The City Hall sweatshirt will be mine.
YE Sweatshirt, $65 CAD
New World Order II T-Shirt, $45 CAD
City Hall Sweatshirt, $45 CAD
Pardon Le Dopeness – There are few things more perfect then a Canadian streetstyle brand whose name is written in Franglais. Based out of Toronto, Pardon Le Dopeness designs evoke a specific brand of badass, reckless youth that I can’t resist.
Wild Youth Beanie, $30 CAD
Peace Leggings, $60 CAD
Cult Tank, $48 CAD
Fear Nothing Tank, $48 CAD
so cool
