I’m not going to lie, the money I budget for beauty and skincare products I use on the daily is significant and shall remain classified. So whenever I find a drug store beauty product that fits the bill but at a lower price, I cue the happy dance and feel compelled to share it with everyone and their dog. How I recently discovered L’Oréal Infallible Silkissime eye liner can be explained by a) total randomness and b) sheer laziness (the drugstore was closer to me than Sephora). As someone who has routinely bought $30+ eye liners, the Infallible Silkissime formula is top notch for a fraction of the price. I’m beyond impressed and here’s why.
Claim to fame… The formula glides on like silk for a soft and luxurious line with up to 16 hours of intensity.
Formulation… A creamy and silky pencil.
How to used it… To tightline and line my lash line.
The result… This pencil is really a dream to use. I’ve never encountered an eye liner pencil with such a silky and smooth application. There is absolutely no tugging or roughness when using this on your delicate area. It really just glides across your lash line or tight line effortlessly in its full saturated glory. The staying power is on point and your liner won’t slip or slide as the day goes on.
Good to know… Have a eye pencil sharpener handy because after a couple of applications, the pencil gets stubby fast. The colour is intense and the staying power is strong. At the end of the day, you’ll really need to get in there with eye makeup remover and a Q-tip to get it all out. In addition to black, you’ll also find this liner available in cobalt blue, plum and Petale Revival (a nude).
Available at London Drugs, $12.99 CAD
